《小马俱乐部历险记》中英双语版：12

今天我们去了小马俱乐部签约。汤姆也在那儿，介绍我们和俱乐部的女老板认识。女老板的态度可好啦！

她有两个女儿，也都爱骑马。今天没人带马儿到俱乐部去，因为是报名时间，只需要家长填写一些表格并签名和交费。然后给我买了俱乐部的制服。在俱乐部训练的时候，我们必须穿着印有俱乐部徽章的栗色马球衫，以及我们想要的马裤马靴。但在参加比赛时，无论是运动会还是其他竞赛，则必须穿奶油色的马靴马裤和一种特制的羊毛背心，是那种很漂亮的深栗色；深栗色是我们俱乐部的标志性颜色。我的运气还不错——俱乐部里正好有一些二手的制服，所以我就买到了一件二手的衬衫和领带；另外还得弄到一块特制的栗色马鞍布条才行——因为那是我们俱乐部的马儿制服，马儿必须穿上它才能参加比赛，这样人们一眼就能认出那是哪个俱乐部的马儿。

小马俱乐部的训练时间是每月的第二个星期日，下周日就是今年开训的第一天。

我盼望着那一天——急不可待！

We went to Pony Club sign on today. Tom was there and he introduced us to the lady who runs it. She’s so nice! She has 2 daughters of her own who ride as well. No one had their horses there or anything, but Mom and Dad had to sign some forms and pay the fees. Then we bought my uniform. On pony club days, we have to wear a maroon polo shirt with our pony club emblem on it. And any jodhpurs we want. But when we’re competing at gymkhanas or other competitions, we have to wear cream joddies and a special woolen vest. It’s a really nice dark maroon, because that’s our pony club color. I was lucky because they had some 2nd hand uniforms and I was able to get a shirt and a tie. I also had to get a special maroon saddle cloth – that’s the uniform that the horses have to have so people can tell what pony club they’re from.

Pony club is on every second Sunday and the first day for the year is next Sunday.

I CAN’T WAIT!!!
