One day, Bill and Tom went to a restaurant for dinner. As soon as the waiter took out two steaks, Bill quickly picked out the bigger steak for himself .

Tom wasn’t happy about that: “when are you going to learn to be polite?”

Bill : “what are you whining about then ? the smaller piece is what you want right ?”

有一天，比尔和汤姆一起去餐馆吃饭。当侍者端两个牛排摆在饭桌时，比尔毫不犹疑，迅雷不及掩耳，风驰电掣般地为自己遴选出最大的块，放在自己地盘里。

见此情景汤姆很不高兴，谴责比尔道：“你打算什么时候学会礼貌啊?”

比尔看一眼汤姆，发现他对自己挑选不满意，从而就不吝指教：“如果你有机会选择，你会首先挑哪一块?”

汤姆委曲求全地斜眼回答：“当然是最小的那块。”

比尔连忙顺毛捋驴很得意顺理成章地说：“那你还抱怨什么？我留给你最小的那块就是您想要的，对吗？”
