我们从音像资料，书本等资料看到是，毛主席说：中华人民共和国正式成立了!!!事实是毛主席说的是：‘‘同胞们!中华人民共和国中央人民政府已于本日成立了!''为什么会反差这么大呢?其实两种原因，当时用的话筒传声效果不是很好，要让全北京人听到难度可想而之。所以出现下面情况：中中中华华华华华人民共共共共...没声....卡卡.......就像现在我们看视屏视频一样缓冲啊，一直卡卡卡，恢复正常后，中间那段就跳过去了，后期整理资料时问题就暴露出来，开国大典不能从录吧。为了政治效果，视觉等等，就剪掉一部分音频，这一剪可谓画龙点睛，毛主席声音响彻全中国!!
前年有人突然问我，“中国人民从此站起来了”这句话，是不是开国大典毛泽东在天-安-门上说的，我一时做不出肯定的答复。静下来想一想，这件事其实很明白，这是他在政协开幕词中说的。开幕词大气磅礴，情文并茂，标题就是这句话。这篇雄文曾被收入《毛泽东选集》第五卷。10月1日在天-安-门上他宣读的是《中华人民共和国中央人民政府公告》，这是一件标准的公文，不用任何抒情的词句，这件公文当天就由周恩来以外交部长的名义照会了世界各国政府。
《中华人民共和国中央人民政府公告》开头的第一句话就是：“同胞们，中华人民共和国中央人民政府已于本日成立了!”而没有“中国人民从此站起来了”这句话。由此可见，上述北京电视台节目主持人所说的标准答案是有误的。1997年6月18日，北京电视台举行智力竞赛，节目主持人向参赛者提出了这样一个问题：1949年10月1日，毛泽东在开国大典开始时说了句什么话?
面对这个问题，有的参赛者回答说是“中央人民政府成立了”;有的参赛者则说是“中国人民从此站起来了”。

翻阅1949年10月2日《人民日报》头版发表的消息，可看到开国大典是这样报道的：毛主席登上天-安-门不大一会儿，林伯渠秘书长就宣布典礼开始。接着，毛主席走到麦克风跟前，庄严而兴奋地宣布：“同胞们!中华人民共和国中央人民政府已于本日成立了!”。
