AfterIwasborn,myparentsdecidednothaveotherkidsbecausetheyweresobusyingworking.IwashappyaboutthatforawhilebecauseIhadalltheloveandattentionfrommyparents.Theattentionisallmine;consequently,I'mtheappleofmyparent'seyes.Ifeellucky,particularlybecauseIdon'thavetoshareabedroomoranything.It'sanadvantage.Igettheundividedattentionfrommyparents.Astimegoesby,Ikindoffeelthelonesomeinmydeepheart.Inthedaytime,Ihadsomefriendstoplaywith,whichhelpedmecopingwithmylonesomeness,butatnighttime,IwasreallyhopingIcouldhavealittlebrotherorsistertotalktoorevenfightwith.

Thelast,butnottheleast,experiencehappenedwhenIwasinAmerica.AfterfinishingmycollegeinChina,IappliedtograduateschoolinUSA.That’showIgotthere.Ifellinlovewiththecountry(USA)immediately.It’ssocleanandgreen.Americanpeopleareverynice.Iwantabetterlifeinthefuture,andIamsureIcanhavebetterlifeinAmerica.Well,it’snoteasyatfirsttime.It’shardtofindagoodjobinAmericaforme.Idon’tknowwhatIcandoexcepttobeawaitressinChineserestaurant.Finally,Ichoosenursingasmycareer,whichisveryrewardingcareer,andIcanalwaysadvancemynursingcareertobenextlevel.Nursingschoolisnoteasy:intenseclasses,lotsofexaminations.IhavenochoicebecauseIwantajobandabetterlife.Ihavetobeabletosettledowntostudyandtoenjoythetemporarylonesometime,soIcanmakeitthroughthewholenursingschool.Afteraccompanyingmyfriendlonesome,IfinallygraduatedfromnursingschoolasaLPN,andmyGPAis3.3whichisnotsoexcellent,butit’sgoodforme.Iamveryhappyabouttheresults.It’sreallyworthhavingsomanylonelytimeswhicharesopreciousandhelpmegetthroughmylife.Now,Ifeelconfidence,andmygoallooksclearertome.IwantthelifeIwant.IlivethelifeIpursue.ThegoodnewsisImakesomanyfriendsthroughthesethreeyearsinAmerica,butIstillcherishthetimealone.
Afterall,ifIsaylonesomeismyfriend,it’sreallyabigcompliment.Iwouldnothavesomanyexperiences,ifIdidn’tenjoymylonelytime;IwouldnotbeabletoadapttonewenvironmentifIdon’tusemytimewisely.IwillnotenjoyAmericancultureifIamlostinlonesome.So,lonesomeisstillmybestfriend.IflateronIcanbesuccessfulinmycareer,Iwillstillenjoythetimealonestudyingandjogging.
